Utah State Debate Competition
April 28 & 29, 2011

The Utah Debate State Competitions were held April 28th and 29th at Skyline High School. 

A total of 80 students participated in the Elementary Division Two Policy Competition on Thursday, April 28th, representing the following schools: Alta View, Draper, Eastwood, Emerson, Hawthorne, Jordan Ridge, Morningside, Peruvian Park, Ranches Academy, Riverton, Sunrise, Whittier and Westland Elementary.

A total of 63 students participated in the Jr. High/Middle School Policy and Lincoln-Douglas Competitions on Thursday, April 28th, representing the following schools:  Albion, Alta View, Beaver, Cache Valley Learning Center, Crescent View, Excelsior Academy, Intermountain Christian, Karl Maesar Preparatory Academy, Meadowlark, Midvale Middle,  Mount Logan Middle, Oquirrh Hills Middle, Parley Park,  Rowland Hall, Thomas Edison and West.

A total of 148 students participated in the Elementary Division One Policy Competition on Friday, April 29th representing the following schools:  Alta View, Brockbank, Eastwood,  Hayden Peak, Hillsdale, Hobble Creek, Howard R. Driggs, Intermountain Christian, Jordan Ridge, Mapleton, Mount Logan, Oakwood, Peruvian Park and Upland Terrace.
